Skibo Castle Near
Clashmore, Highland Region When the girl failed to return home that evening an intensive search was made, including at the castle in spite of the protests of the manservant. She was never found and shortly afterwards the servant left the district. Soon
afterwards people living in the castle were startled by screams
that were heard coming from the castle corridors and by the sight
of a young woman who always appeared to be in a state of terror.
Many years later some repairs were being made to the castle, during
which a young woman's bones were found in the very spot where
the apparition usually disappeared. The remains were buried elsewhere
